Daddy Daughter Photos

Last night BJ had an idea for some pictures to take with Kalena. He'd seen on an episode of MTV Cribs a picture of a daddy and baby and baby is naked and daddy appeared to be as well. (BJ is wearing pants in all these pics... hehe). So this morning before he left for work, we headed to the studio, our bedroom, put up our backdrop, added some light and viola!!! I took about 70 pictures total and ended up deleting half of them. The ones below are my personal favorites. He is so sweet with her and just loves her so much. And she loves him just as much because she didn't even pee on him! I love these two more than anything.

True Love

Words cannot express... well, maybe "awww..."

"You may kiss me on my cheek."

"Mommy? Some help here?"

"Lunch time?"

"Um, you're not my mommy!"

Kalena Laurette Fele'unga Fie'eiki

So, Kalena was born on Sat. Jan. 10 at 12:38p, she weighed 8lbs 4oz and was 21 inches long. My 'trapped intestinal gas' really was real contractions. hehe... I had Kalena natural... and everything went according to plan until the pushing happened. Man, what a pain in the arse, literally.. hehe. It would have all been ok if baby hadn't have torn me on the way out, if I didn't have to have an episiotomy and if I didn't have to have emergency surgery to stop the bleeding... that's right, things did NOT go according to plan. I just barely managed to get downstairs to the comp to update a few blogs I've got. But my boobs are KILLING me, so it must be about feeding time. I'll try to keep this updated, but all of a sudden there is something much more precious and important to me then keeping up on my blogs. But never fear, I still keep this up. I love my baby girl!!!!!

Ouch!!!

So, today is the second of my third due dates given and no baby! My current due date is Sunday. Since early morning I've been feeling contraction-like tightening. It's been on and off all day, and not very comfortable. Unfortunately they are NOT contractions. They could be Braxton Hicks contractions, but more then likely what it really is, is trapped intestinal gas!!!!! Life is SO not fair! Ugh! I try not to get too hopeful that I'm wrong, but wouldnt it be nice if I were one of those pregnant women who didn't KNOW she was having contractions and going into labor. (sigh!) That only happens to girls who live in the mid west or those who write those articles for Glamour or something. Anywho... more later... maybe. :)
